Oregon teams were originally known as Webfoots, possibly as early as the 1890s. The Webfoots name originally applied to a group of fishermen from the coast of Massachusetts who had been heroes during the American Revolution; their descendants had settled in Oregon's Willamette Valley in the 19th century and the name stayed with them. A naming contest in 1926 made the Webfoots name official, and a subsequent student vote in 1932 affirmed the nickname, chosen over other suggested nicknames such as Pioneers, Trappers, Lumberjacks, Wolves, and Yellow Jackets.

Our piece is an homage to the 1940's Oregon Duck mascot. It's multi-layered design makes this unique piece a true collector's item.

This custom piece's dimensions are 23" x 21".

Each piece of artwork is a perfect combination of modern, 3D metal construction and vintage-style artistry.  It’s the perfect addition to any Oregon fan's basement, office, man cave or anywhere you want to show your Ducks pride. They make great gifts if you are looking for a unique piece of high quality artwork for your favorite fan.

Hex Head Art blends 3D geometry of your favorite team mascot or logo, with our signature vintage paint finishes. Our vintage style gives every piece an “old, but clean” look that is hand fashioned by our artists right here in the USA, so each piece of Oregon artwork is unique.
